summer camp
Our Summer Camp Program provides your dog with a structured outlet to socialize, exercise and learn! The program consists of two parts: Day Care and Pack Walks.
The day begins with complementary pick ups for each dog. Then we head to my home for some group time in the yard. This is a perfect way for your hound and I to build a relationship! During Day Care we focus on socializing and training while also encouraging play and curiosity. This way their personalities really get to shine and our training is tailored perfectly for each dog.
Following Day Care we head out for a Pack Walk. Pack Walks give us the opportunity to work as a team and apply what we’ve learned during Day Care. We change up our walking locations to keep things fresh and the dogs engaged. After our walk, water break and cool down we load up the crew and start our drop offs.

When boarding we want it to be your dogs home away from home! When your hound is staying with us we want you to have complete peace of mind that your dog is happy, fulfilled and well taken care of. We provide walks, yard time and a lot of love. Boarding is a great time for us to work on at home boundaries and behaviors with customized training. We also include pictures and updates during their stay.

Adventure hounds
My name is Emilie and I am the owner of The Adventure Hounds. Our main focus is on dog behavior, meeting a dog where they are and working with them from there. Dogs communicate very differently from humans and understanding how they communicate changes everything. When we understand the way dogs communicate it opens up a whole new world of possibilities! Our program provides a safe outlet for your dog to be a dog, to play, learn, explore and work as a pack.
I started my professional career in Los Angeles, where I found an amazing community of like minded people. In 2021, I decided to make the move back home to the Midwest. I am very excited to bring this world of dog care to Toledo, Ohio! I currently have a deaf/blind Mini Australian Shepherd puppy named Rooney (she is a Double Merle, which is a product of improper breeding) Having Rooney has been such an eye opening experience. She learns and plays in such a unique way. I am very grateful to have a dog who challenges me and forces me to think outside of the box.
